Faversham and North Kent A collection of images made in Faversham and the coastal areas of North Kent such as Medway and the Isle of Sheppey. Faversham is the oldest market town in Kent and it’s historic streets and winding creek are very interesting to photograph; I especially like the nearby Oare Marshes for capturing images of boats moored up on The Swale. This estuary separates the Isle of Sheppey from the rest of Kent; an area which is renowned for its wildlife and has some interesting pillboxes too at Shellness and Warden. Continuing up the coast brings you to the River Medway and to places such as St. Mary’s Island and Rochester with Rochester Castle and Cathedral great attractions to photograph from the waterfront.
